American Football
American Football in the United States and Canada only known as soccer. Outside it is also known as Gridiron football or tackle. The goal of the game is, points by advancing the ball into the opposing zone. The ball can be driven by a current player or by throwing a team-mate (passing). The points can be reached, beyond which the ball over the opponent's goal line.
Further points can be achieved in that the ball is kicked through the goalposts. The winner is the team which end of the season won the most points. American Football is closely related with the Canadian Football, but there are clear differences. Both sports come from rugby. The most important forms of soccer in the United States Collegiate football and professional football.
There have been many major professional football leagues in the
United States. The two are currently in the National Football
League (NFL) and the United Football League. The sport is also
played outside the United States. National is professional and
college leagues in Britain, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Finland,
Sweden, Japan, Mexico, Israel, Spain, Austria, and in several
Pacific island countries.
